IPFL and the micro 3D printing technology applications

The UK-based company is set to showcase its latest acquisition in micro 3D printing technology at TCT 3Sixty this June

IPFL, experts in plastic machining, fabrication and 3D printing, is set to showcase its latest acquisition in micro 3D printing technology at TCT 3Sixty this June. The show is firmly established as the UK’s leading additive manufacturing event.

Situated in Hall 1, Booth F41, IPFL will be running a live demonstration of its microArch S240 micro 3D printer, developed by Boston Micro Fabrication. The machine produces printable components to an accuracy of 10 microns (μm), surpassing the scale of comparable additive manufacturing technologies. The machine has further enabled IPFL to maximise short-run production speeds.

The microArch S240 can print components 10x faster than using conventional methods such as machining or injection moulding. Its addition to a growing line-up of plastic printing services lends itself to IPFL’s promise of clean and ready to use components in just 48 hours.
