Bugatti has revealed the physical world premiere of the F.K.P. Hommage at Rétromobile 2026, within the first-ever “Ultimate Supercar Garage”, a new space dedicated to the world’s most exclusive hypercars. Following its digital debut on January 22, the car made its public appearance in Paris as the second creation of Programme Solitaire, Bugatti’s ultra-exclusive bespoke coachbuilding initiative.
The F.K.P. Hommage is a tribute to Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the visionary behind the legendary Bugatti Veyron, a car that reshaped automotive history by surpassing the 1,000-horsepower barrier and creating a new performance category.
Presented by Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac and introduced by Head of Design Frank Heyl, the one-off model is built on the latest evolution of Bugatti’s W16 platform, featuring a 1,600 hp quad-turbocharged engine, representing two decades of continuous refinement.
Its exterior preserves the Veyron’s unmistakable silhouette, including the iconic dropping belt line, while modernizing surfaces with larger air intakes and a striking new three-dimensional horseshoe grille machined from solid aluminum. The bespoke Rouge Jubilé multi-layer paintwork, inspired by the Veyron’s “Absolute Red,” adds exceptional depth, contrasted with black-tinted exposed carbon fiber.
Inside, the F.K.P. Hommage introduces a major evolution compared to recent W16 models such as the Chiron and Mistral. A circular bespoke steering wheel, aluminum-machined center tunnel, and the custom “Ettore Grand” fabric in Havana highlight Bugatti’s craftsmanship. The centerpiece is a customer-requested 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, integrated into the dashboard as a tribute to engineering heritage.
Displayed alongside an original Veyron 16.4, the unveiling reinforced Bugatti’s celebration of the Veyron legacy. The brand also showcased four certified Veyron variants through its official partners, underlining the ongoing desirability and collector prestige of the model.
With Programme Solitaire limited to just two unique masterpieces per year, Bugatti’s message at Rétromobile was clear: the future of luxury performance lies in personalization, heritage, and one-of-one artistry.
