Alfa Romeo presents the world premiere of the exclusive Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, the first fruit of the partnership with the Luna Rossa team, the spearhead of international sailing and a symbol of Italian sportiness and technological innovation.
The project is not limited to celebrating a sponsorship but represents the meeting point between two icons of Italian sportiness in terms of engineering skills, research into materials and shared vision set out across three levels: sports partnership, technical collaboration and the creation of special editions inspired by the world of sailing.
An authentic manifesto of the Italian brand, Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is made based on the gritty Giulia Quadrifoglio production model. It is built at the Cassino plant and subsequently transformed in an artisan process that also involves a selection of Italian partners that specialize in the highest quality and innovative workmanship.
Developed as part of the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE universe – the new creative core dedicated to customization, aesthetic research and performance, and an initiative that combines the excellence of Alfa Romeo and Maserati – Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa perfectly embodies the Biscione brand’s philosophy: to create unique, technologically advanced objects deeply rooted in Italian excellence.
Since its debut, the Alfa Romeo Giulia in its Quadrifoglio version has been at the pinnacle of high-performance sedans, and has become a true benchmark. Today, thanks to this new version, a genuine Made in Italy masterpiece has taken shape, at the apex of the Alfa Romeo special series.
Made in only ten units, all of which have already been sold, the new special series is the most extreme Giulia Quadrifoglio ever courtesy of a series of technical interventions and a specific carbon-fiber kit that make it a masterpiece of aerodynamic efficiency: it can generate up to five times the downforce of the production version while maintaining a surprisingly low drag value.
