Roth Composite Machinery (RCM) will be at the JEC World (25-27 of April, 2023) with an international team of experts from Germany, the USA, Korea and China and will present its service portfolio as well as latest innovations in Hall 5, Stand K6.
The new splicing unit, which emerged from the company's own development work and proves to be very powerful in the trial phase, is likely to be a particular eye-catcher.
This is an innovative automation concept in which compressed air is used to swirl the individual fibers for all fiber strands in parallel to create a secure connection with the changeable fibers.
Until now, the rovings have either been knotted or spliced by hand when they are changed - a process being not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. The automated process, together with the corresponding machine, can realise the fiber changing process quickly and safely.
