Today, Bugatti unveils the Programme Solitaire, an exclusive offering devoted to creating truly one-of-one vehicles that celebrate the brand’s heritage while pushing the boundaries of personalization and craftsmanship.
The inaugural creation of Solitaire is Brouillard, a breathtaking coupe paying homage to Ettore Bugatti’s beloved horse. Brouillard, a majestic thoroughbred with a white coat flecked like morning mist, embodied everything Ettore cherished: speed, beauty, and unparalleled grace.
Hendrik Malinowski, Bugatti’s Managing Director, states that the Programme Solitaire “allows us to authentically explore the unique visions of our clients … with no compromise to performance, quality or design,” delivering a level of detail beyond even the exclusive Sur Mesure creations.
Inspired by Bugatti’s early 20th-century coachbuilding traditions—when companies collaborated with specialist coachbuilders—Jean Bugatti brought that craft in-house, giving birth to icons like the Type 57 SC Atlantic. The Programme Solitaire stands as a modern heir to that legacy.
