Media Fusion and Crain Communications announced the first edition of the Middle East Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (MECAM Expo).
The exhibition will take place from 5-7th September 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The expo is co-located with UTECH Middle East Foam and Polyurethane Expo (UTECH MEFPU Expo), Adhesives, Sealants & Bonding Expo (ASB Expo), and Plastic Recycling Show Middle East & Africa 2023 (PRS ME&A)
The Middle East is a rapidly growing market for the composites and advanced materials industry. The region has a strong focus on infrastructure development and investment in technology, which has created a demand for lightweight, durable, and high-performance materials. The aerospace and defense industries, in particular, are major growth drivers for the composites and advanced materials industry in the Middle East.
Additionally, the FRP composites materials have a growing role in various industries, including: Construction, Energy, Transportation, and Sports and recreation. The use of FRP composites materials is expected to grow in the coming year due to increasing demand for sustainable and lightweight materials.
