Tourbillon, a timeless interior of luxury and mechanical craftsmanship

Analog-first design redefines the Bugatti hypercar experience

Bugatti has unveiled the interior concept of its new Tourbillon hypercar, blending heritage, luxury and advanced engineering into a uniquely crafted cockpit. Led by Chief Interior Designer Ignacio Martinez, the team drew on over a century of brand identity to create an environment rich in premium materials and iconic cues.

The interior is centered around a continuous line dividing driver and passenger spaces, echoing the exterior’s signature spine. Materials range from supple leathers to bespoke fabrics, reflecting Bugatti’s concept of “car couture,” inspired by haute couture in fashion.

In keeping with the pursuit of timelessness, digital elements are minimized in favor of tactile, physical controls. The central display stays hidden within the dashboard until needed, highlighting a commitment to analogue engagement.

The fixed-hub steering wheel integrates buttons and paddle shifters, rotating independently around the central airbag, while the fully mechanical instrument cluster was developed with Swiss master watchmakers. This ensemble evokes the intricate mechanics of high-end watchmaking.

By merging horological craftsmanship with automotive design, Bugatti delivers an interior that feels timeless, luxurious and built to endure - a space that balances heritage with modern performance demands.
