Angeloni Group (Michelin) merges with Selcom

his marks the final step in a process that began in 2022, when Angeloni Group acquired the Fregona-based company in Italy

Angeloni Group (Quarto D’Altino, Venezia, Italy), a leading company in the composite materials sector, has completed the merger by incorporation of Selcom Srl, based in Fregona (Treviso). This marks the final step in a process that began in 2022, when Angeloni Group acquired the Fregona-based company.

“The merger,” explains CEO Carlo Della Bona, “aims to optimize our operational structure and improve the efficiency of the services we offer our clients. The two companies began working in close collaboration immediately after the acquisition: our productions and know-how are complementary, and we can say that we have ‘walked together’ over these past two years, sharing goals and integrating our experiences. With this final step, we remove the last remaining divisions and become a single team.”

Founded in 1992, Selcom manufactures and markets multiaxial (non-woven) fabrics made of carbon fiber, glass fiber, and Kevlar. Its specialization has therefore completed and enhanced Angeloni Group’s product offering.

The Group now counts five locations: two sites in Quarto D’Altino (headquarters/logistics and production of unidirectional fabrics), two production facilities in Lombardy—one in Lesmo (Monza and Brianza province) for weaving, and one in Castano Primo (Milan province) for resin impregnation—and, as of today, one plant in Fregona (TV).

Angeloni’s total turnover, now part of the Michelin Group, amounts to nearly €90 million, with more than 200 employees overall.
