Bcomp has announced that its ampliTex™ and powerRibs™ natural-fibre composite technologies will be integrated into the BMW M Neue Klasse concept, demonstrating that bio-based composites are becoming a viable solution for high-performance automotive applications.
Compared with conventional carbon-fibre composites, Bcomp's solutions reduce manufacturing-related CO₂ emissions while maintaining excellent mechanical properties and vibration damping. The collaboration highlights the growing role of sustainable lightweight materials in premium vehicle development.
