FACC is celebrating 20 years of operations in Canada while further expanding its industrial presence in the country. Established in 2006 to provide on-site support for Bombardier, FACC Solutions Canada has gradually evolved into a manufacturing and service facility employing more than 80 people and taking on increasing responsibility within FACC’s North American supply chain.
Today, the site manufactures and assembles components for the cabins of the Bombardier Challenger 3500 and Global 8000, while also producing aerostructure components for the Global 8000 and the Airbus A220 family.
The development of the facility reflects FACC’s increasing integration into the North American aerospace market. Over the years, the Canadian operation has expanded from customer support into complex assembly, manufacturing and service activities for key regional customers.
The latest expansion has added approximately 600 m² of production space, bringing the total manufacturing footprint to more than 4,500 m². The new area increases capacity for the production and processing of high-quality cabin interior components for both passenger aircraft and executive jets.
Alongside manufacturing, FACC has also strengthened its service capabilities. Since 2022, the site has held Transport Canada approval as an Approved Maintenance Organization, allowing it to perform repair, maintenance and refurbishment of cabin components for business jets. Dedicated service teams are also deployed directly to international customers’ final assembly lines.
According to FACC, the expansion will enable the Canadian operation to respond more quickly and flexibly to customer requirements while creating additional opportunities for future growth. The site therefore combines advanced component manufacturing, assembly and aftermarket services in support of major aerospace programmes.
