IACMI and Northland launch composites training hub in the United States

The initiative announced aims to strengthen skills in advanced composites manufacturing

IACMI – The Composites Institute and Northland Community & Technical College have announced the creation of a new aerospace composites training hub in Minnesota. The initiative aims to develop specialized skills in advanced composite manufacturing for aerospace and industrial applications.

The program will include intensive courses and hands-on activities focused on advanced composite production processes, with particular attention to the needs of the U.S. aerospace industry. Growing demand for lightweight, high-performance structures is accelerating the need for qualified professionals in composite manufacturing technologies.

According to the project partners, the new center represents a strategic investment to support American industrial competitiveness in aerospace, defense and advanced manufacturing sectors. The hub will provide free training programs and laboratory activities for both new technicians and experienced industry professionals.
