PAL-V prepares global training network for FlyDrive vehicles

A memorandum of understanding with AVION and FLYVE opens the way to dedicated simulators, specialised training programmes and an international network of centres supporting future commercial operations

PAL-V is taking another step towards the commercial deployment of its FlyDrive vehicles, launching a collaboration with AVION and FLYVE to develop advanced training solutions for future customers.

The agreement is intended to strengthen the capabilities of the PAL-V Academy, enabling it to scale operations, train customers regardless of weather conditions and improve the efficiency and sustainability of its training activities.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the parties will jointly explore the development of dedicated PAL-V flight training simulators, specialised training programmes and the integration of existing training facilities into a future global FlyDrive training network.

The collaboration comes as PAL-V moves from technology development into industrialisation and market deployment. Following the achievement of its manufacturing licences, the company is now preparing for commercial operations and future customer deliveries.

According to CEO Robert Dingemanse, access to high-quality training solutions will be essential to support the growth of the FlyDrive market. Simulation can increase training capacity, reduce dependence on weather conditions and provide more standardised training across different countries.

The project therefore aims to create an international training infrastructure capable of supporting PAL-V’s commercial expansion and preparing future users for both the aviation and road-driving aspects of the vehicle.
