Portale Compositi becomes a newspaper

A passage that goes hand in hand with a much broader project that points straight to the academic world

Portale Compositi becomes a newspaper. The news, made official a few days ago with the authorization signed by the President of the Tribunal of Teramo who registered our magazine (and its supplement Composites Portal) as no. 720 of the Registro Stampa, is a point of arrival and at the same time a new departure for our team.

A passage, the one from portal to newspaper, that goes hand in hand with a much broader project that is directed to the academic world and to the enhancement of the work that scientists, professors and students carry out on composite materials in the name of innovation and of experimentation on a daily basis.

We started, a year and a half ago, by inaugurating the "Academic World" column. We intend to continue expanding this vocation so as to intercept and highlight the efforts of universities and researchers.

Composites are not new materials and the industry and the research world know them well, however, since they have been around, they have always been considered synonymous with innovation.

Light. Resistant. Beautiful. And, a non-negligible detail, they are used in sectors where man often pushes himself to the frontiers of his knowledge. Just think of space missions, motorsports, the electric adventure, eVTOL projects (i.e. projects based on vertical take-off and landing aircraft like drones).

There is also the topic of biocomposites and the one of the recycling of composites. These are fundamental topics posing urgent questions to which many people would like responses and which, soon, could significantly drive the entire production chain connected to these materials.

We like challenges, we want to tell about them. And you readers are many. More than one hundred thousand every year. And the numbers are growing. This is why we will continue, daily and together with our publisher, ACS, to do our job trying to offer you more and more.

Stay tuned!
