Sigmatex expands global distribution of carbon‑fiber textiles for aerospace and mobility

Strategic agreement announced at JEC World 2026 in Paris

Global demand for advanced composite materials continues to grow across aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors. In this context, carbon‑fiber textile manufacturer Sigmatex announced at JEC World 2026 a strategic distribution agreement with Link Composites to expand the availability of its materials worldwide.

The partnership aims to strengthen the supply chain for technical fabrics used in structural composite components. Sigmatex materials are widely applied in high‑performance sectors including aerostructures, high‑performance vehicles, industrial infrastructure and defense systems.

Woven carbon fiber textiles are among the most widely used reinforcement solutions in composite laminates due to their combination of lightweight properties, mechanical strength and dimensional stability. These characteristics enable manufacturers to replace traditional metal components while improving energy efficiency and reducing structural weight.

According to the companies involved, the agreement will accelerate the adoption of advanced composite materials across multiple industries by improving access to carbon‑fiber textiles designed for demanding structural applications.
