After a slowdown, the Italian composite materials market is recording a steady progression and the estimates for the current year are very positive. The use of composite materials is mainly concentrated in sectors such as aerospace, transport, automotive and industry, but others are opening the door to these technologies such as construction and energy.
This trend is better defined every year at JEC World, with Italy always present in the top 5 of the exhibitor countries and in 2018 even third for the number of visitors in 115 countries represented.
Moreover, in the last edition several Italian innovations have attracted great interest, with 4 companies among the finalists at the JEC Innovation Awards 2018.
For the 2019 edition of JEC World, the trend seems to be unchanged. The Italian pavilion, organized by ITA-ICE, has already confirmed its participation with 16 companies out of 74 already registered at JEC World 2019.
