The supercar inspired by the legendary 1967 33 Stradale

At the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, one of the most distinctive interpretations of the customisation program for the new 33 Stradale was unveiled.

The Biscione’s supercar, produced in a strictly limited run of just 33 units and inspired by the legendary 1967 33 Stradale, takes the form of an exclusive creation named ‘Perla Nera®’, a name specifically chosen and registered by its owner. It perfectly conveys the car’s unmistakable full-black identity, derived from the expressive power and material richness of carbon fibre.

Conceived and developed around the vision of its owner, a passionate collector and profound connoisseur of the automotive world, ‘Perla Nera®’ embodies a bold and instantly recognisable character, both in its exterior design and interior environment. The result of a continuous dialogue between the customer and the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile.

And so, a completely black 33 Stradale was born. The only example in the ultra-limited series of the supercar, in which matte-finish carbon fibre is not merely a technical material but becomes an integral part of the vehicle’s design language.

This is evident in the distinctive arrangement of the carbon fibres, which interact with the model’s flowing Alfa Romeo lines, enhancing its symmetry and volumes while accentuating the dynamism of its design and the muscularity of its curves.

On the front bonnet, the carbon fibre highlights the characteristic V-shaped motif, while a herringbone pattern becomes a recurring graphic element that guides the eye from front to rear across the roofline. The result is a perfect synergy between the iconic design of the 33 Stradale and the material and graphic qualities of carbon fibre.

Achieving this striking effect required a dedicated production process capable of combining technological innovation with Italian craftsmanship. The carbon fibre was laid by hand within the mould, with each fibre positioned with extreme precision to follow the contours of the surfaces and enhance their shapes and volumes.

The same meticulous attention was applied throughout every subsequent stage, from rigorous quality inspections to final assembly. The design of the carbon-fibre layup and all related technical aspects were shared step by step with the owner, following a truly bespoke approach.

More
